About Malasia

Malasia knew she always wanted to work with animals from a young age. She spent countless hours outside running and biking with her family’s German Shepherd, Jax. Her love for animals extended beyond her own home—she often pet-sat for neighbors and spent a couple of years working on a hobby farm, caring for a variety of animals. For as long as she can remember, animals in general have always been her passion!

In 2021, Malasia stepped into the pet industry professionally with her first job at a doggy daycare.  That same year, she welcomed Tucker, the Cardigan Corgi. Caring for Tucker ignited a deeper passion for understanding dog behavior and the importance of relationship building, connection, and clear communication. Determined to give him the happiest, most fulfilling life possible, she began an intensive journey of learning and skill development.

In 2022, Malasia was working on earning her dog trainer certification, laying the foundation for her own training and boarding business. Malasia also started consistently fostering and training rescue dogs since - she fell in love with watching them grow and gain confidence in the world. Every foster taught her something special and all have a place in her heart!

She is committed to ongoing education, regularly attending workshops, courses, and mentorship programs with respected trainers who share her values. Her programs integrate the best practices she’s learned from experience, education, and mentorships, while avoiding outdated or harmful approaches.
